What are the benefits of using Goat Milk Soaps?
Goat milk soap is truly beneficial rather than just a trend. It’s rich in lactic acid for gentle exfoliation, rich in essential fatty acids for deep hydration, and vitamins A, B6, B12, D, and E that repair damaged skin. Its pH (4.5 to 6.5) closely matches human skin pH (4.5 to 5.5), soothing irritation without stripping the skin's natural barrier. The creamy fats and natural proteins of goat milk is ideal for sensitive, irritated and or dry skin. It’s gentle, moisturizing, nourishing and safe for all ages and skin types.
What makes Groovy Goat Milk Soaps different from others?
I choose ingredients with integrity and intentionally, not because they are
trendy, but because they are good for you. I keep things simple and use
only clean ingredients you can actually read and recognize. Goat milk is at the heart of most everything I make. It creates a rich, nourishing bar that is gentle for everyday use and safe for
every skin type. Each bar is handmade in small batches using real goat’s
milk from a farm in Farmersville, TX. I measure, blend, pour, cut, label, and
package every bar of soap. Exact patterns, colors, top textures, and more
may vary per batch, but I guarantee a top quality soap! Our mission is to
provide a healthier, eco-friendly alternative to synthetic products, promoting
sustainability and skin health.
What if I’m local and don’t want to pay for shipping?
Once you have made your selection, at check out, indicate local pick and orsend me an email atAline@groovygoatmilksoaps.com and let me knowwhich soaps you want and we will schedule a pick up.
Is your soap safe if it has lye in it?
I carefully measure and blend my soaps with the proper amount of lye.
Once the saponification process is complete, no lye remains in the
soap. All my soaps cure for a minimum of 6 weeks before they are
labeled and sold.
Can your goat milk soap be used on babies?
Yes, my goat milk products are excellent to use on babies; they’re safe,
made with 100% natural ingredients, nourishing to the skin, free of toxins,
and super gentle! I recommend using the Unscented Goat Milk Soap bar or
the Gentle One, or the Unscented Gentle Tallow. The Unscented Goat Milk
Lotion is also a great lotion for babies.
How will my skin feel when using goat milk soap?
Most commercial soaps are not soaps at all, but products that contain synthetic detergents, sulfates, and harsh additives and chemicals that strip away the skin’s natural oils, leaving it tight, dry, itchy, and irritated. After using high quality goat milk soap for a week or two, your skin should feel softer and less tight or itchy. You may notice you require less moisturizers and any challenging skin conditions may see healthy improvements. Individual results may vary, and it is advisable to consult a dermatologist for persistent skin issues.
